Those stupid new Ontario tourism commercials!

Whatever happened to the old Ontario commercials? The ones that had the song "a place to stand, a place to grow, we call this land Ontari-airy-airy-o" ?

I don't think I'd be so offended by the new commercials if they weren't so blatantly pathetic and only focus on GTA, not how massive Ontario actually is! It literally takes 24 hours to get from London to thunder bay! Only like 20% of the province is populated! It is literally so massive that it contains both the southern most tip of Canada as well as the bordering the arctic!

Ontario is so much more than the few cities that comprise the majority of it's needs. It is world class forests, the best place for camping, canoing and hunting in the world and holds some of it's best citizens.

Wow, i'm so heinous when it comes to updating my blog! I apologise for not updating and promise to rant a little more! Maybe my next post will be about the state of the economy or something else entirely brilliant...or not. It will probably be about a movie or sports. Promise to write soon!

camp this weekend

As a member of Scouts Canada, I do a lot of camping. This past weekend, we had one of our annual camps and it was fun! I got to see quite a few people that I've missed hanging out with, and I worked as a medical venturer, so there was a lot of walking! It was very nice and sunny out all weekend, so lots of people got really excellent sunburns, but most of the injuries for the weekend were from people being clutzy or not thinking about safety! Overall, I think the camp was a success, and I can't wait till next year!

A little about me

Hello blogverse!

My name is Leanne and I'm 23. I live in Southwestern Ontario and I have a degree in history and english lit from the University of Western Ontario. I'm engaged to an awesome guy, and I have two cats.

This blog is going to be about my life, and my impressions on the world, so it might get really weird sometimes, especially if I'm ranting about something

I have a great love of Star Wars and of Harry Potter. I'm also a member of Scouts Canada, so I'll be posting about those exciting parts of my life, with names omitted of course!

I'm going to be attending Teacher's College in September as well, so you'll get to hear all about my adventures there when the times comes!

Hope you enjoy my life! I know I do!
